Recently, your kingdom has encountered a small problem; you're being invaded. The invader is a kingdom twice the size of your own, known for their prowess in battle. You've fought for about six months, and while you put up a valiant effort, it's becoming clearer by the day that the kingdom is going to fall. There's no hope.
Well...there's a very, very small hope, but it could just result in the deaths of more of your people. And of them, you will almost certainly be the first.
Your lands are home to an enormous, monstrous creature. When they first arrived, over a decade ago, there were a few spats with outlying villages before an arrangemen

Serpentine Circumstances - Chapter 3
The morning after Seren had first brought the serpent food, he returned, feeling markedly uneasy about what he was about to do. In one hand, he carried the pole of a spear, sharpened at the tip – that had taken half an hour of work, but he thought he’d gotten it to a satisfactory point. Over both of his shoulders he carried thick loops of strong, woven rope, which would feel far too large for stitches, if it weren't for the fact that it would be thinner than twine to the serpent. He would have brought healing herbs, to help with infection, but…something told him that would be pointless, to a creature of this size. Besides, h

Serpentine Circumstances - Chapter 1
Seren could barely see through the water, the chaos around him filling the space with bubbles that turned everything into a white haze. Of course – of course he would get caught up in a hunt, of all things, when all he’d wanted to do was spend a little time sunbathing.
There was a small outcropping of rocks near the kelp fields, and he often went there to relax, warm up, spend some time weaving or studying the latest artifact he’d found. When the water some few hundred feet away rippled, he brushed it off, figuring there was a school of fish being driven – a shark, or perhaps dolphins, if he was lucky. The sturdy merm
You're a god.
A very young god, admittedly, but a god nonetheless, and you've been given what is comparatively a very small assignment; to look over a city. You make sure their crops grow ('so long as they provide reasonable sacrifice' you were told) and bring rains, stop tornadoes or any other natural catastrophes. It's fun, for awhile, and then you begin to grow bored. Crops only grow once a year, after all, and it's not like wildfires and plagues happen every day.
So, you turn to a popular pastime for gods; you watch humans. This is infinitely more interesting, and you find yourself growing more and more attached to these weak little cre
You're a brave hero on a journey; to find a red flower that sprouts from the lava fields in the Infinity Forest. Unfortunately...the forest was named so because it's almost impossible to find your way in it, and you've been traveling for at least a month now, with no sign of success or even a hint of smoke.
Worst of all, however, are the creatures. Not the dangerous ones, you can fight those just fine...but there's a certain little wisp that's been sticking to you like a burr. It won't show up for a few days, or even a week, but the moment you have any sort of inconvenience, such as when your map got rained on and was useless, or when your h

Hi! I had a really hard time picking out a username, so I used what was on my desk at the moment. I'm nonbinary, so I'd much appreciate they/them pronouns to be used, if, uh...anyone looks at this, haha. Thanks a bunch!
Hi! I plan for this to be a mostly roleplay and/or writing account, so I figured to kick things off I'd post my RP rules. It's mostly basic stuff, but I like to have it around.
* I will do just about any genre, but I will say that I prefer fantasy and sci-fi, and if I write a prompt, it will almost certainly be one of those two. I also used to be very interested in G/t, which I think I'm returning to, so if you'd like a G/t roleplay, lemme know!
* I only write in paragraph form, and I have a 2-sentence minimum (though more than that is greatly appreciated!) It just doesn't seem like much of a story otherwise.
* I also really like good gram
I just wanted to say that I love the look of your prompts do far! I am a bit of a nervous person, but eventually, I think that I will try to respond to one of them.
Thank you so much! ^^ As a fellow nervous person, I completely understand, don't worry. Thanks again for commenting, it's really nice to see people like my stuff!
